The Best and Worst of 2003 II
The Best and Worst of Movies XP Media Center.
The Best in TV
1. Joan of Arcadia - This series is on the top of the list, simply because it surprised me the most. Creators need to make sure that the crime element doesn’t overtake the show, I feel like snoozing while dad is solving a crime.
2. Monk - I don’t want to repeat myself too much and I would if I added comments about this wonderful show.
3. Alias/The Practice - Two Sunday shows that have successfully changed their premise. Alias has simplified the concept of the show. I think this was a good choice because the show was about to cave in on its mythology. For The Practice, the changes have lightened the tenor of the show and possibly saved the show from cancellation after this season. Is it bad that I like the new “evil” character?
4. Angel - Another series to make an almost complete makeover. The addition of Spike from Buffy has added a whole new level of humor. The ownership of the evil law firm Wolfram and Hart makes an interesting new twist the series. I’m looking forward to the rest of the season.
5. Survivor - This season of Survivor ruled. The Pirate theme (despite my distaste for pirates) was just what the doctor ordered. Hagrid Rupert was too fun. Jon was respectable villain.
6. Buffy the Vampire Slayer The final episode. Enjoyed it.
The Worst in TV
1. Skin
2. The West Wing
3. CSI - Though tonight’s episode was enjoyable.
Let me know about your choices.

Is it this series of West west you hate? I like it. I also vote for Joan, Survivor and Alias!
FYI: I’ve linked to you on my blog.

I don’t think I watch enough TV to make a list
Maybe the news makes it to the top of both lists, though

The worst:
All reality shows
The best:
……………..
The not so bads:
Jake 2.0
Smallville
Alias (when they’re not doing the Victoria Secret catalog routine)
The worst cancellation mistake:
ABC cancelling “Miracle” and filling that time slot with, yep you guessed it, another reality show.

Mac, I agree Miracle was a good show. I forgot about that one.

Oh, how could I forget!
The docu-soaps - I totally agree. I can’t stand them. I’d rather
than watch those.
