What In Tarnation?!?!?

Dear Joss Whedon,

When I heard about your first TV show I refused to watch it. First it was on that new network and that movie that the series was based off of… well it wasn’t the best. However, when I finally gave in and watched an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I was hooked (well except for season six, I have almost forgiven you for that, I guess I am one of the few audience members who would rather not watch kinky s3x acts on TV). Thankfully Buffy was given a full life and was able to end with grace and a satisfying conclusion.

Then along came Angel. I didn’t think you could do it again. I was sure that you were streching the BtVS universe too far. Again you proved me wrong. Angel has become it’s own animal, one that I like just as much as BtVS. Now with Angel’s life being cut short, (possibly, I’m still holding out hope) what could be next?

The best TV series of last season, Firefly. Again, I though you were crazy. A space western with more western than space? I generally hate westerns, what were you up to? The prefect blend to make an exciting and hilarious TV program. I relished the 11 episodes that aired and have enjoyed all thirteen now that they are out on DVD. I am ecstatic that you are making a movie on the failed series (hey, you did it with a failed movie, why not the other way around?)

Your shows have had a tough time on TV. Please, please, please don’t give up. I’m looking forward to your next project.

PS I liked you movies (Toy Story, Speed, X-Men, etc.) too, but I want you to stay in the TV business.
