What In Tarnation?!?!? In the Classroom

Back in the day (last year) Charles decided that when he grew up he was going to be a totographer (aka photographer). He was fascinated obsessed about Spiderman. It only natural that Charles would want to emulate his favorite comic book hero and his alter ego Peter Parker. Soon the Spiderman obsession would be swept away by his current obsession Godzilla. Charles’s dreams were carried away by the thought of becoming a… well… a monster. Not as practical as a totographer, I grant you but it is uniquely Charles.

His dream has temporarily changed back to a totographer again. Charles recently earned grab bag in his EMH classroom (after filling a page with stickers for good behavior students get to dig through a bag of assorted toys as a prize) and he chose a top camera. Hilarity ensued.

While walking down the hallway during my plan time Charles burst out of his door (I guess he was standing there waiting for me) and started snapping “photos.” He would bend down to get different angles all the while saying things like, “Wait, I need a close up,” “Smile,” “Say cheese,” “Take two,” and my personal favorite, “Over here. Yeah!” while snapping. It took me awhile to regain composure. It was hilarious.

Boy I miss having that kid in class.

Time to weigh in on your favorite Super Bowl commercial. My favorite: Burt Reynolds and the talking, dancing, groin kicking bear. It edged out the 24 commercial that actually aired in the pre-show where the announcer interrupts people at the grocery store, “Don’t miss the next exciting installment of 24.” Or to the guy buying boxer shorts, “Pick up two pair, you’re going to need it.” So funny.

I have to say I was extremely disappointed (and disgusted) by Go Daddy’s ads. What a waste of money.
