Blessed Again
Ganns and I started blogging around the same time. I’m not sure how we found each other’s blogs but through some twist of fate we did. I can remember to before the SuperBlessed day to Mere Maddness and the eyes that would look around on his site. Ahhhh, good times. Ganns has always been really great about encouraging others through his blog and I have been the recipient of that encouragement on more than one occasion. Now, at a time when encouragement is really appreciated Ganns has struck again.
Around this time of year, it has been Ganns tradition to hand out the SuperBlessed Blog Awards to blogs that he has enjoyed. WIT has been the recipient of the Most Humorous Blog in 2005. 2004 was a bit of a dry spell. I was nominated for most humorous and the Christian blog of 2004 but WIT was awarded with neither, however WIT did get this glowing review:
I love Christopher Wright simply because he is everything I wanted to be. His life is living testimony and testament to God’s goodness. He molds young minds, raising them to be Christlike, and there is no job that carries that much opportunity, other than parenthood, and I admire him so much for that! I love how he teaches me to appreciate the little things, and how he encourages me every so often with a visit and a kind word. Love you, Mr. Wright!
2003 was a much more successful year for me. I was awarded with Most Humorous Blog and the Christian Blog of 2003.
Now Ganns has recently released his pick for the SuperBlessed awards for 2006. Evidently finding no other award to give me, Ganns has put WIT among the ranks of Bene Diction Blogs On, as SuperBlessed’s Hall of Fame winner of 2006! I guess WIT has been around for that long. Here is what Ganns had to say this time:
Superblessed Hall of Fame Award
What In Tarnation. I don’t think anyone is more deserving of this award this year than Christopher Wright. Maybe it’s because he teaches kids, and funny teachers are a lot more fun than unfunny ones. Maybe it’s because he’s just naturally witty, or sarcastic, or what have you. Maybe it’s because he’s encouraged me too too much throughout the years. Or maybe it’s the air in Montana. Good job, Mr. Wright. Rock those kids’ worlds.
Thanks you Ganns, just what the doctor ordered. Just one note, I’m from Missouri but I hear Montana is nice too!
Thanks Ganns! Next year I am going for Most Enjoyable Male Filipino-Christian Blog. We’ll see how that goes.
Riiiight…
Class dismissed!
